About the product:

Establishing networks can be a complicated and frustrating procedure, often left to domain experts. The DiscoverBus Wired Nodes simply click into the DiscoverBus Hub, using the appropriate data cable, forming an operational, wired, daisy chain network. The Hub is then wirelessly onboarded to the Xped Gateway with the tap of an NFC Smartphone running the Xped App. Any number of satellite wired networks can be quickly established using multiple Hubs connected to one or more Gateways. The Hub manages the data communications and power management of the attached Nodes, include power cycling, if remotely commanded. Additionally, Nodes can be “hot swapped” allowing them to be added or removed without the need to power off the system; reducing downtime and improving maintenance efficiency.
